Series Notes:
-Colorado's win in Game 2 of the series marked the first home loss for the Rush in this year's post-season and ended an eight-game home winning streak. The Eagles are 9-6-2 all-time at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena.
-Eagles forward Steve Haddon netted a power play goal in Game 1 versus the Rush giving him four PP goals in the post-season (tied for the most in the league). Haddon had been held without a PP goal in his first 61 post-season games but now has four in his last man advantage strikes in his last seven games.
-Colorado's Kevin Ulanski scored the game winning goal late in the third period in Game 2 giving him two GWG's in this year's post-season. Ulanski led all players during the regular season with 11 GWG's.
-The Eagles have the longest active home win streak prevailing in three straight at the Budweiser Events Center.
-Rapid City defenseman Dave Grimson leads all blue liners in scoring with 11 points (3-8=11) and is tied for the league-lead with a +7 plus/minus rating.
-The Rush have gotten off to fast starts this post-season outscoring the opposition 18-9 in the opening period with the +9 marking the largest opening period difference of any playoff club. The defending champs are a +2 in the second period and even in the third period this playoff season.
-Rapid City has scored the first goal in seven of their 10 games so far going 6-1 in those contests.
-Riley Weselowski has been as steady as they come on the Rush back end notching eight points (2-6=8) and a +6 plus/minus rating in 10 games. In last year's playoff run to the Cup, Weselowski had three points (1-2=3) and was a +7 in 12 games.

Series Notes:
-Game 2 versus the Americans marked the first time the Mudbugs have trailed after two period in this year's playoffs.
-Allen scored three power play goals in a 2:21 stretch of the second period of Game 2 marking just the second time all season that Bossier-Shreveport had allowed three PP goals in a game this season.
-Nine of the 11 playoff games that Bossier-Shreveport has played this post-season have been decided by one-goal (excluding empty-net scores). All four of the ¬ËBugs playoff losses have been decided by one-goal (again excluding empty-netters) with two determined in overtime (one versus Arizona and one versus Tulsa).
-In three previous playoff stints (one with RGV, one with Rocky Mountain and one with Bossier-Shreveport) defenseman Clay Plume totaled three goals, an assist and a -5 plus/minus rating in17 post-season games but in this year's playoffs with the Mudbugs, the defenseman has five points (2-3=5) and is a team-best +7 in 11 games.
-Whoever is leading after 40 minutes appears to have to big advantage in this series as Allen is 6-0 when leading after two periods and Bossier-Shreveport is 5-0.
-The Americans have allowed just six PP goals in 47 opportunities sitting as the highest ranking team remaining in penalty kill percentage (87.2%). The Americans also have scored two shorthanded goals.
-Allen's Dave Bonk is currently riding the longest point streak in the post-season at eight games scoring six goals with six assists over that stretch. Bonk has goals in five straight playoff games and six of his last seven and over his eight game point streak has been an even or plus in each game totaling a +8.
-Americans forward Jarret Lukin has almost matched his playoff output from a year ago in half the games. Last season in 20 post-season games, Lukin scored five goals with nine assists and already this season in just 10 games he has matched his goals total with five and has seven helpers.
