-Allen forward Brian McMillin scored twice in the team's series clinching game on Saturday giving him five scores in the post-season, tops in the CHL.
-The Americans are 5-2 in series clinching games in their history.
-Rookie goalie Aaron Dell leads all net minders in the post-season with a 1.61 GAA and a .939 save percentage.
-Allen scored the first goal in all five games against the Cutthroats in the series.
-Veteran Brad Smyth led the Cutthroats with three goals in the series.

-Wichita and Fort Worth will face-off in the Conference Semifinals with Game 1 set for Wednesday at the INTRUST Bank Arena and Game 2 set for Thursday in Wichita.
-The Thunder went 5-2-1 during the regular season against the Brahmas with goalie Torrie Jung going 4-1.

Series Notes:
-Kristofer Westblom made 19 saves earning his first shutout of the post-season and fifth of the year in Saturday's 1-0 Game 5 win for Fort Worth. No CHL goalie has more shutouts this season than the rookie who went 4-1 with a 1.85 GAA in the series against the Flock.
-The Brahmas have won five of their last seven chances to close out a series.
-Fort Worth fell behind in three of their five games versus Quad City but went 2-1 when they did not score the first goal. Three of the games in the series were decided by one goal with two of the games going to OT.
-Despite losing three of his four decisions, Quad City goalie John Murray was outstanding in net with a 2.18 GAA and a .934 save percentage.

Series Notes:
-The home team has won every game in the series as Missouri is coming off three straight wins outscoring the Rush 12-6 in that stretch.
-The Mavs have their first chance to clinch the series and in their history, they are 3-2 in series clinching games. Conversely, Rapid City is 5-2 in games where they face elimination.
-Kenton Miller, Kellan Tochkin and Andrew Courtney all have three goals and two assists leading the way for the Mavericks. Regular season MVP Sebastien Thinel also has five points, all assists.
-Former Rush forward Colt King has two goals and was a +2 in Saturday's 5-2 win for the Mavs in Game 5. Former Rush defensemen Blake Forsyth is tied for the team high with a +3 plus/minus rating.
-The Rush's power play has connected just once in 26 chances in the series and are last in the CHL with a 3.8% success rate.
This Date in Playoff History (April 8, 2007)
The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs used a goal from Ryan Fairbarn to beat the Wichita Thunder in double overtime of their Game 5 Opening Round series win at the Kansas Coliseum. The Mudbugs fell behind in the series 2-1 but won the last three games with that 3-2 double overtime triumph serving as the turning point.
