Series Notes:
-The Komets have allowed 19 goals in the third period of their games this post-season marking the highest goals allowed total of any period for any team. Conversely, Wichita's 19 goals scored in the second period of their games is the most of any team in any single frame.
-Mavs forward Ed McGrane has scored a goal in five straight games and in eight of the nine Missouri playoff games to date. His eight total goals are tied with R.G. Flath (Wichita) for the most in the league.
-Missouri's Sebastien Thinel currently has a nine-game point streak with 13 points (3-10=13) over that span, tied for the most in the league. His nine-game streak is the longest this post-season in the CHL.
-The Mavs have won four straight road games and are unbeaten away from home this post-season.
-Fort Wayne' defenseman Jamie Milam has a goal and four helpers over his last four games.
-Komets forward Jean-Michel Rizk has scored four goals over the last three games and is now tied with Mike Vaskivuo for the most goals on the team during the playoffs (5G)..

Series Notes:
-Wichita forward Thomas Beauregard is currently on an eight-game point streak with four goals and six assists over that stretch. Overall, he has points in nine of the 10 games Wichita has played so far and is tied for first in scoring during the post-season with 13 points (4-9=13).
-Brahmas goalie Brad Fogal has taken over the league lead with a 1.92 GAA during the playoffs. He is 5-3 stopping 149 of 163 shots and has allowed two goals or fewer in seven of the eight games he has played so far.
-Wichita's defensive duo of Daniel Tetrault and Kevin Young are tied for the most goals among d-men with three each. The next highest defensive pair is Fort Wayne's Jamie Lovell and Frankie DeAngelis who each have two goals.
-No team in the playoffs have played more one-goal games than the Brahmas going 5-2 in those games. This follows suit to the regular season where Texas led all teams with 42 one-goal contests (18-16-8).
-The Thunder's OT win on Saturday night improved their home record in the playoffs to 6-0.
This Date in Playoff History (April 23, 2003)
On this date in 2003 the Memphis RiverKings played the Austin Ice Bats in Game 4 of the Championship Round. Memphis' Don Parsons went on to score a hat-trick helping his team to a 7-2 win; the RiverKings ended up beating Austin in five games and were crowned the Presidents' Cup winners. Parsons was the Joe Burton Scoring champion two years (2000/01, 2002/03) while spending time with the RiverKings. Memphis went on to retire Parson's #13 in 2010, being only the second player to have their number retired in franchise history.
