Series Notes:

-Wednesday's win for Allen in Missouri marks the first home loss for the Mavs during this year's post-season.

-Allen goalie Aaron Dell is 6-2 in the playoffs allowing two goals or fewer in seven of the eight games he has played. His 1.97 GAA is third in the CHL and his .927 save percentage is fourth.

-The Americans power play goal in overtime of their Game 3 win ended a stretch of 17 straight man advantage chances without a goal. Allen is 6 for 41 in the post-season converting at a 14.6% rate.

-Missouri forward John-Scott Dickson scored his first goal of the playoffs on Wednesday in the Mavs Game 3 loss. The 21-goal scorer from the regular season was held without a goal in his previous eight post-season games.

Series Notes:

-Wichita's 3-0 series lead marks the 24th time in league history that a team has had a 3-0 series lead and in all 23 previous cases, that team has gone on to win with 14 of those series' ending up in sweeps.

-The Thunder's current post-season win streak (seven games) is one win away from tying the longest in CHL/WPHL history. Twice have teams won eight straight games (1999/Oklahoma City and 2001/Lubbock).

-Thunder forward Matt Summers has a goal and three assists with a +4 plus/minus rating in his team's last two games.

-Torrie Jung made 29 saves in Game 3 win marking his league-leading second shutout of the post-season. His 1.53 goals against average is tops in the league and his .937 save percentage is second.

This Date in Playoff History (April 19, 2010)

The Odessa Jackalopes prolonged their Conference Finals series against the Allen Americans with a 4-3 overtime win in Game 6. Garrett Gruenke scored one of his three career post-season goals early in the extra session forcing the series into a deciding Game 7, ultimately won by Allen who advanced to the CHL Finals. Current Missouri forward Sebastien Thinel has a goal and an assist in that contest.
