
Sharks, Soul to be aired on NFL Network

CHICAGO - The AFL's American Conference Championship game featuring the #2 seeded Jacksonville Sharks (11-8) at the #1 seeded Philadelphia Soul (16-4) will be broadcasted nationally on "NET10 Arena Football Friday" on NFL Network this Friday, August 3rd, the Arena Football League announced this evening. Kickoff is set for 8 pm ET.
Philadelphia convincingly dropped the New Orleans VooDoo, 66-53, to advance while the Sharks narrowly escaped the Georgia Force, 58-56, this evening. Sharks kicker Marco Capozzoli converted on a 51-yard field goal as the clock expired to bring Jacksonville to the next round.
The Soul defeated the Sharks twice during the regular season and outscored Jacksonville 118-65.
David Baumann will join Anthony Herron in the NFL Network broadcast booth. Sherdrick Bonner will serve as the sideline analyst for the game.
