
Senators Recall Forward Mike Hoffman from Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 23, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Mike Hoffman on an emergency basis from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators . This will be Hoffman's first recall of his National Hockey League career.
Hoffman, 22, has scored seven goals, added 10 assists and recorded 20 penalty minutes in 32 games with the B-Sens this season. His seven goals match his total from his first professional season, when he recorded 25 points in 74 games. In 106 career regular-season AHL games with Binghamton, he has tallied 14 goals, 28 assists and 36 penalty minutes.
Hoffman was Ottawa's fifth-round selection (130th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
