
Seaside Sea Kings Name New General Manager

Monterey, CA. The ABA expansion Seaside Sea Kings, scheduled to begin play in December, 2009, today announced that Yvonne Stewart-Buchen has been named General Manager of the team. According to Wash Stallworth, Jr., team owner, "With extensive experience in management, communications and media, marketing and public relations, Ms. Stewart-Buchen brings an array of talents and knowledge to our team and the ABA."
Serving as Public Affairs Director for statewide elected officials and policy advisor for a gubernatorial candidate, her know how in business application and development brings a key element of success to the Seaside Sea Kings. Her experience in news and politics provides a unique point of view to public relations strategies and community outreach.
Stewart-Buchen's experience in project management and developing and marketing of events will bring positive exposure to the Sea Kings and the ABA. As a media and spokesperson and press secretary for the state, Stewart-Buchen has been responsible for formulating successful media strategies.
