Cam Woods - Defensive Coordinator
Cam Woods played 15 seasons for Albany, San Jose, Chicago, and Toronto after being selected 18th overall in the 1997 Entry Draft. He won the 2011 Championship with Toronto. He was named a co-winner of the 2004 Defensive Player of the Year Award. He was a four-time All-Star (2002, 2004, 2007, & 2009). He retired eight all-time in loose ball recoveries (1,371) and penalty minutes (414). He was named captain for Albany for the 2001 season and retained the title through the 2007 season with Chicago.
Woods surpassed the 100 loose ball total in six of his seasons. He set a career high in goals (12) in 2001 and a career best in points (23) in 2002.
Woods also won two Canadian Mann Cup championships. 2002 and (2008 with Patrick and Brodie Merrill) and has represented team Canada at the world outdoor games in Perth Australia (2002) and at the world indoor games and Heritage cup.
Woods was a nominee for the NLL hall of in 2021and previously worked with the Albany Firewolves as their eastern scout.
