San Diego Seals News Release

(SAN DIEGO, CA) - The San Diego Seals announced today that the team has acquired forwards Zack Greer and Jeremy Noble from the Colorado Mammoth, pending league approval.

"We're very excited to add Zack and Jeremy to our offensive group," said general manager and head coach Patrick Merrill. "They've proven to be consistent point-producers, and are leaders and winners in this league. We think they will be an outstanding fit for our team on and off of the floor."

Greer, 33, is the younger brother of defensive coordinator Bill Greer and brings nine years of veteran leadership to the Seals. In 133 career games played, the lefty registered 239 goals and 440 points. Greer won back-to-back NLL championships with the Rush in 2015 and 2016, and was named an assistant captain for Colorado in 2017. On August 1, the Mammoth announced that Greer had been taken off the Retired List and added to the Active Roster.

Noble, 28, was drafted second overall in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft and spent five years with the Mammoth. The 5-9, 170-pound righty netted 78 goals and 251 points in 65 career games. Noble was a finalist for the 2015 NLL Rookie of the Year award and was named to the NLL All-Rookie team.

San Diego sent a second-round pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft and a conditional pick in the 2020 Entry Draft to the Mammoth.

The Seals return for their second season in December at Pechanga Arena San Diego. Place your season ticket membership deposit today at SealsLax.com.
