SAN JOSE - The San Jose Stealth and Silicon Valley Sports and Entertainment (SVS&E) announced today that the first of two training camps will be held October 18-19 at Bladium Sports Club in Alameda, Ca.
The first of the two sessions will take place from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct.18 and 8-10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19.
"We have identified the top lacrosse talent living in the Bay Area," said General Manager and Head Coach, Johnny Mouradian. "We plan on having 18-20 athletes out from local field and indoor teams."
Among the coaches and staff in attendance will be General Manager and Coach Johnny Mouradian, Defensive Coordinator Dave Pirog, U.S. Scout Doug Locker and other representatives from the organization.
"The invitees to camp are members of the Northern California Lacrosse Association (NCLA), which consists of eight field lacrosse teams, and several members of Bladium's Indoor leagues, which consist of 90-100 players," said Mouradian. "There is plenty of local talent to draw from in the Bay Area and we are excited about beginning the season."
The second of the two "invite-only" training camps will be held at HP Pavilion in San Jose on Nov. 7-8 with the time TBD.
Both training camps are open to the media and the public to attend.
