The boys were buzzin' in Denver as Staats quickly notched two goals in the opening minute of the game. Maintaining the momentum, he completed a hat trick with 8 minutes remaining in the first period, securing a 3-0 lead for the Seals.
Mac O'Keefe made a triumphant return in his first game back since last season, scoring his first goal of the night from his favorite spot atop the crease, courtesy of a smooth feed from Dickson. Followed by another nice rocket shot in the 3rd for Mac. The Seals enjoyed a collective effort, with contributions from Berg, Dickson, Dobbie, Kyle Jackson, Tre Leclaire, and defensemen Danny Logan, Cam Holding all finding the back of the net.
Looking ahead, the Seals will continue their tough January road trip and face undefeated Albany next Saturday night, January 20th in Albany followed by the Philadelphia Wings in Philly Saturday, January 27th.
