
Saltillo Rancho Seco Become Third Mexican PASL Team

The Professional Arena Soccer League today announced the Saltillo Rancho Seco will join the league for the 2013-14 season.
Rancho Seco has spent the last three seasons in the Liga Mexicana de Futbol Rapido and expects to continue as a member of the LMFR, which plays a spring schedule.
"We have played up to this point to develop young talent, but now we are now looking to be a competitive team in all aspects," said Rancho Seco General Manager Marco A DÃÆÃ¡vila.
The team is headquartered in Saltillo, the capital and largest city of the northeastern Mexican state of Coahuila. Saltillo will play their games at UAdeC, an outdoor rink with a capacity of 2,200.
Saltillo becomes the third city in Mexico to join the PASL along with the Monterrey Flash and Toros Mexico (Tijuana).
"The PASL has always has always valued international competition," said PASL Commissioner Kevin Milliken. "We're proud to extend the PASL brand further into Mexico."
