San Jose SaberCats News Release

SAN JOSE - The San Jose SaberCats today launched a new website for the 2011 season at www.thesanjosesabercats.com to better update their fans and followers for the upcoming season. Created by Impression Design, the site will feature player bios and statistics along with video and photos to provide in-depth coverage on the SaberCats for the upcoming season.

"The SaberCats have been one of the premier franchises in the AFL since they entered the league in 1995," said Managing Member Dave Fry. "Our new website will allow our fans to enjoy more content on the SaberCats in a variety of ways they weren't able to before. With San Jose returning this season, we wanted to make sure our fans had a new, engaging website in 2011."

Other new features include social networking (Facebook, Twitter and Flickr), an online media guide that will be updated throughout the season along with interactive elements featuring players, coaches, and media personalities. More changes will be made to the site leading up to the SaberCats season opener at HP Pavilion on March 11 against the Spokane Shock.
