Rush Team up with Edmonton's Food Bank

Edmonton's Food Bank is excited to announce a season long food drive for all of the 2014 Edmonton Rush Lacrosse home games. Edmonton Rush and Tri-Line Disposal are pulling out all the stops in asking fans to bring non-perishable food donations and in return, fans will receive a special Tri-Line Disposal/Edmonton Rush squeeze ball.

Edmonton Rush blew fans away in 2012 by coming within one win of the championship. And, in 2013 they placed third in their division and went on to the playoffs. The 2014 season promises to be another exciting season with a great line up including Mark Mathews, one of the best players in the league.

Edmonton's Food Bank volunteers will be at the entrances to Rexall place to accept donations at the following home games.

Saturday, February 1 - 7:00 pm game start

Friday, February 28 - 7:30 pm game start

Saturday, March 8 - 7:00 pm game start

Friday, March 21 - 7:30 pm game start

Saturday, April 5 - 7:00 pm game start

Saturday, April 19 - 7:00 pm game start

Friday, April 25 - 7:30 game start

We serve people facing food insecurity year round and it is only though ongoing support such as this that we are able to continue our work," says Marjorie Bencz, Executive Director of Edmonton's Food Bank.

They take an active role in caring for the environment through a number of waste collection programs including organic waste collection and co-mingled recycling.
