The Montréal Roses visit Vancouver Rise FC this Saturday afternoon at Swangard Stadium with an opportunity to officially secure their place in the Northern Super League postseason.

CLINCHING SCENARIOS
With a WIN: Montreal reaches 41 points, a benchmark neither Halifax Tides FC nor Calgary Wild FC can mathematically reach. The playoff berth is secured.
With a DRAW or LOSS: Montreal still clinches if Halifax fails to defeat AFC Toronto Saturday.
STORYLINES
The Roses (11-4-5, 38 points) lead the Northern Super League standings and hold the competition's top goal differential at +15.
Montreal has not lost an away match this season, taking 23 out of a possible 27 points on the road (7W-0L-2D) with four clean sheets in nine trips.
While Vancouver Rise FC (8-10-2, 26 points) sits fourth, their 38 goals scored tie Montreal for second-most in the league. Vancouver enters Saturday following a dominant 4-0 home win over Ottawa Rapid FC.
The four previous meetings between Montreal and Vancouver have produced 22 combined goals with zero draws (4-0, 5-1, and 4-3 wins for Montreal; 3-2 for Vancouver).
Roses forward Elyse Bennett and Rise FC forward Jessica De Filippo, currently tied atop the NSL Golden Boot race with 11 goals each, will face off on the same pitch.
Anna Karpenko remains the only goalkeeper in the NSL to play every minute for her club this season (1,800 minutes across 20 matches, 58 saves, 7 clean sheets).
Roses midfielder Lisa Pechersky returns to face her former club, having won the 2025 NSL title with the Rise.
