Rome Copper City Chiefs unveil uniforms

The Rome Copper City Chiefs members of the Eastern Professional Hockey League (EPHL) unveiled the jerseys that they will wear in their inaugural 2008-2009 hockey season. The team colors will be black, white, and yellow.

The home jersey will be white with black and yellow flames on the arms. The Chiefs main logo will be the fireman hockey player on the front. The shoulders will have a black and yellow Maltese cross. The number appearing on the back will be black with a yellow shadow. The players name will be in black. There will be a black neckline and a black and yellow stripe at the waist.

The away jersey will be black with yellow and white flames down the arms. The Maltese cross will be the logo on the front With Rome Chiefs on the top and bottom of the cross and double hockey sticks on both sides. The cross will be yellow with a white shadow and the words in white.Both shoulders will have a fireman head. Numbers on the back in yellow and their name in white letters. There will be a yellow neckline and a white and yellow stripe at the waist.

The third jersey will be worn for special occasions and will be yellow with black and white flames down the arms. The main fireman logo with the words Copper City Chiefs will be on the front. The shoulders will have the Maltese cross. The number on the back will be in black and the name will be in yellow. There will be a black neckline and a black and white stripe at the waist.

The team will wear black pants, black helmets, and black and white socks with a yellow stripe with all jerseys.

Team owner Wayne Premo feel these jerseys will keep the history of the Chiefs alive and also add a great logo that is appealing to the team and fans. Replica jerseys in all three designs will be on sale when the season opens November first. Premo also stated that the Chiefs web site is being worked on at this time.
