Austin Rockers News Release
The Austin Rockers have hired Chris Duliban as its Head Football Coach. Duliban is a 1981 graduate of Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas.
He attended the University of Texas on a football scholarship where he played Outside Linebacker from 1981-1986. He was named Second Team All-SWC and received the DX Bible Team Spirit Award in 1985. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1986 and played Linebacker and Special Teams for the Cowboys in 1986-1987. He then signed as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills in 1988. Duliban left the NFL in 1989 to play for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League. He became the Head Coach of Varsity Football at Hyde Park Baptist High School in Austin, Texas, in 1996, a position he retains presently.
His professional coaching career includes a year as Defensive Coordinator of the Texas Terminators of the Indoor Professional Football League. Duliban and his wife, Heather, have two sons: Grant (5) and Garet (2).
