Toronto Rock News Release
Toronto, ON âThe Toronto Rock prepare to take on the Rochester Knighthawks in a home and home series this weekend. The back to back games will begin tonight as the Rock host the Knighthawks at 7:30pm at the Air Canada Centre.
The Rock went 1-3 against the Knighthawks in 2004 and are looking for retribution this season. Despite Rochester having offensive powerhouses such as John Grant and Shawn Williams, the new look Rock are poised to take down the Hawks this weekend.
"They're a tough team, there's no denying that but we had a great practice and the boys look sharp. We're going into this weekend on a 2-0 start hopefully we can carry the momentum through and add a couple more wins." Terry Sanderson, Toronto Rock Head Coach and GM.
A new block of lower bowl red tickets for tonight's game were released for sale to the public this morning at 10:00am. Fans can purchase these and other tickets for the game through Ticketmaster outlets by phone at (416) 872 5000, online at www.ticketmaster.ca or in person at the Air Canada Centre Box Office.
