Rochester New York FC Introduces Oral Roberts University Star Dante Brigida

Dante Brigida scored 35 goals in his collegiate career at Oral Roberts University in the NCAA mid-major Summit League.

The All-League and All-Region honoree from Oklahoma joins a burgeoning strike force for Rochester New York Football Club as the club ramps up to return to the field in 2022.

Three of the first four players announced by Rochester New York Football Club have been attacking in nature.

The focus on an attacking, fan friendly style of play with talented young prospect from outside the mainstream of the traditional U.S. Soccer community seems to be a point of emphasis for RNY FC Sporting Director Dr. Lee Tucker.

"I am sure Dante will be a favorite of our supporters with his dribbling skills and creativity. He is an exciting prospect for sure."

During his review of his new signee, Rochester New York Football Club Head Coach Bruno Baltazar has been impressed by the versatility and diversity in his attacking play that Brigida displayed during his time with Oral Roberts University.

"Dante is a versatile and exciting forward, capable of playing in all the attacking positions, combining speed, technique, and finishing skills."

As for Dante himself, he can not wait to begin his professional career in Rochester.

"I am super excited to be joining RNY FC. I can't wait to meet all of the fans and be a part of the community. I am ready to get out to Rochester and get to work!"

Rochester New York Football Club has signed Forward Dante Brigida to an MLS NEXT Pro PROFESSIONAL contract, pending league and U.S. Soccer Federation approval. Financial terms were not disclosed.
