What: The National Women's Hockey League is the first professional league to pay women to play hockey. The 2015-16 season marks the inaugural campaign for this four team organization and has been extensively covered worldwide.
This game features several Olympic-level players including two-time U.S. Olympic silver medalist Kelli Stack.

More Details: New York has dropped two straight, including a 4-1 decision in Boston on December 6. Goaltender Jenny Scrivens made 35 saves in the losing effort. Kaleigh Fratkin's goal with 25 seconds left in regulation kept the Whale unbeaten through seven NWHL games. Connecticut leads the league in penalty minutes (103) and will be without Molly Engstrom due to suspension.
