
Rising Signs Forward Lamin Jawneh

Phoenix Rising FC has signed forward Lamin Jawneh to a 25-day contract, pending receipt of his ITC, the club announced today.
"Now is a very good time to add a player like Lamin," said Rising head coach Rick Schantz. "He is explosive and very decisive in the final third. We've watched him for a couple of years and finally had the opportunity to bring him in for a trial. He works extremely hard. He's very humble. I cannot wait to see what he brings to our team."
After stints with NPSL sides SGFC Eagles and Inter Nashville in 2017-18, Jawneh made 11 appearances for Atlanta United 2 in the USL Championship during the 2020 season. He spent last season with Moca FC in the Dominican first division.
