
Ricardo A. Richardson named CEO of CBA Properties, LLC.

ALBANY, NY (November 30, 2006) - The Continental Basketball Association announced today that it has named Ricardo A. Richardson, President & CEO of CBA Properties, LLC.; the exclusive marketing, licensing, merchandising and entertainment agent for the Continental Basketball Association.
CBA Properties will negotiate the sub-licensing of international leagues in countries such as Canada, and areas that include Caribbean, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and others; as well as develop marketing and entertainment programs for its member teams. The company will assist in the development of international leagues and member teams located in those countries. Government and private groups from the Caribbean and Africa about developing leagues and teams there have engaged CBA Properties.
Richardson stated, "The CBA stands for Continental Basketball Association, and I believe that it can become a global league and live up to its name. The league is the oldest professional league in the U.S., and I am proud to be associated with branding it abroad."

The CBA recently completed its 60th anniversary season on March 27 with the Yakama Sun Kings defeating the Gary Steelheads in a best-of-three-game series. That series featured the CBA's 2006 Player of the Year, Anthony Goldwire (Sun Kings), and the CBA's 2006 Coach of the Year, Jaren Jackson (Steelheads).
