Battle Creek Revolution News Release


Friday- Battle Creek, Mi -The Battle Creek Revolution won by the score of 6-2 over the Indiana Blizzard . With the win, the Revolution win-lose record in AAHL regular season play now is 8-3 and in first place. Scoring goals in period one for Battle Creek: Hironori Kobayashi and Nobumasa Kinugasa. Scoring in the 2nd period for BC was Ryan Bond. Ky Moje, Chris Affinati, and Justin Barr closed out the scoring in the third period for Battle Creek. Player, assistant coach, Rob Schweyer had two assists in the contest. Vlado Neumann picked up the win this evening for BC in goal.

Saturday- Battle Creek, Mi-The Battle Creek Revolution won by the score of 7-1 over the Queen City Storm. With the win, the Revolution win-lose record in AAHL regular season play now is 9-3 and in first place. Scoring goals in period one for Battle Creek: Nobumasa Kinugasa, Darren Seid, and Ryan Bond. Scoring in the 2nd period for BC was Chris Affinati. Justin Barr, Jason Dolgy, and Chris Affinati, closed out the scoring in the third period for Battle Creek. Matt Kinsella picked up the win this evening for BC in goal. BC Rev captain, Chris Affinati, had two goals and two assists in the contest tonight for BC.

Home Sweet Home

The Battle Creek Revolution will bring there their perfect home record of 6-0 to Saturday night's big game against the Lapeer Loggers. The Loggers will be aiming to end the unbeaten streak of the Revolution at home. The Revolution posted a 5-2 victory over the Loggers on November 3rd, at Revolution Arena. The Loggers returned the favor in Lapeer at the Polar Place with a 3-2 win over the Revolution on November 14th. The opening face off will be at 7:00pm, with tickets available at the Revolution Arena Box office Monday-Friday by stopping by from 9am-5pm. This will be the Revolution's only game this week.

Revolution Weekly on Blog Talk Radio

The Revolution Weekly is back on the air each week on Blog Talk Radio every Monday night on the Revolution Radio Network at 7:00pm. Joining the show this week will be Justin Barr and Dan Kohanchuck. The show is an open forum for you to call in talk to your favorite players or just to call and say hello to them if they haven't called home in a while by calling 646-652-2454 during the show. Revolution Fast Facts

The Revolution Hockey Club has been around for what is now it's thirds season in the All American Hockey League. The Revolution have quite a few faces that have a lot of experience in minor league sports like General Manager David Darkey, Head Coach Bobby Clouston, and Equipment Manager Chris Fordon. There only two Revolution staff members that have been around all three seasons for the hockey club. They would be Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Andy Jach and Game Night Operations Manager Barry Smith. Barry got his start with Andy in the broadcast booth and will join the broadcast team on the road sometimes during the 2010-2011 season.

The radio crew will travel to all the road games to bring you the radio and all home games will be on the Radio and Video Networks. Revolution Cross

We would like to thank you for all your questions for Darren Seid for this week's Revolution Cross Fire. League Leaders

The Revolution currently have Jason Dolgy leading the league in scoring with 8 goals and 14 assists for 22 points. Ky Moje is currently second in the league in scoring with 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points. If that isn't enough the Revolution also feature the top goaltender in the league Matt Kinsella with a 6-0 record and 1.83 goals against average. Darren Seid also leads the league in Penalty Minutes with currently 88 minutes in 12 games.
