Battle Creek Revolution News Release
Evendale, OH-The Battle Creek Revolution pro hockey club won Friday night by the score of 6-4 over the Queen City Storm.
Queen City scored the only goal in the first period. There were two fights in the first period featuring in one fight, team captain, Chris Affinati. A few seconds later Vinny Geonnetti, D, with the Revs was in the second fight of the contest.
BC Revs came back in the second period with a goal from Chris Affinati. Then two goals from #16 Jason Dolgy to give the BC Revs a 3-2 lead at the end of the second period.
Revolution got three goals in the 3rd period. Billy Siers with a nice back handed shot past the QC Storm goaltender. Shawn McNulty with a goal in the third period. Then Jason Dolgy got the hat trick for BC scoring the empty net goal in the last minute of regulation to make the score 6-4.
Fight Night
Lapeer, MI- The Battle Creek Revolution lost by the score of 3-2 to the Lapeer Loggers on Sunday afternoon at the Polar Palace ice arena. Season series between these two AAHL in state rivals is tied 1-1.
No scoring by either team in period one. Goal scorers for Battle Creek in period 2 include #40 Marco Trevino and #45 Justin Barr. Plenty of hockey fights in the first two periods of the contest. No scoring in the third period.
Vlado Neumann took the loss in net for BC. Former Revolution net minder, Matt Wagner, got the win for the Loggers.
Home Sweet Home
The Revolution will return home this Friday night at Revolution Arena at 7:30pm with the Queen City Storm coming to Revolution Arena for a rematch from last Friday night in the Queen City. The Revolution and Storm season series is tied at one win each with both games coming in Sharonville, Ohio. The Revolution bring a 3-0 home record in to the contest and are expecting a large crowd with an already large presold amount of tickets so make sure you stop by the box office to get your tickets before your left out or call the hockey office at 269-339-8488.

The Revolution has had some heated rivals like the Chi-Town Shooters over the last two seasons. The Revolution now currently have four former Shooters leading the way for the 2010-2011 season can you guess them. Did you ever think you would see Darren Seid, Jason Dolgy, Vinny Geonetti, and Justin Barr wearing the Revolution colors of Red, White, and Blue. Those guys have created some heart breaks for the Revolution fans it great to have them on our side now.
