
Revolution Look to Chop Down Loggers

(Battle Creek, MI) The Battle Creek Revolution Professional Hockey Club, proud members of the All American Hockey League, will be in action this Saturday against the Lapeer Loggers at Revolution Arena at 7:00pm. This weekend's lone home game will be bring a special deal so that you can bring the entire family for $40 and receive 4 game tickets, food, and drinks.
The Lapeer Loggers and Revolution bring one of the biggest rivalries in the league into this Saturday's contest. The last game in Lapeer, MI, the Revolution and Loggers drop the gloves eight times and the Revolution come up short by the score of 3-2 at the Polar Palace. The first game of this season series, the Revolution skate off the ice with a 5-2 win against the Loggers at Revolution Arena. BC Revolution forward, Shawn McNulty, won a fight early in the contest that set the tone for the rest of the hockey game.
The Revolution will bring their perfect winning record of 6-0 on the Revolution Arena ice this weekend against the Loggers. Every team in the league is looking to pin that first lose on the Revolution on home ice and the Loggers will be no different. The Revolution are currently in first place in the AAHL regular season standing. Also, the Revs are leading the league in goal scoring and penalty minutes. The Revolution also feature the top goaltender in the league in Matt Kinsella.Also, the the top three leading scorers in the AAHL in Jason Dolgy, Ky Moje, and Chris Affinati are skating in Battle Creek this season..
"It's was my goal to create an intimidating environment for the visiting team to come into Revolution Arena like the old Thunder Bay days in my playing days," stated, Bobby Clouston, Director of Hockey Operations and Head Coach. "Revolution Arena allows the fans to be right on top of the action and the place is electric when we have a great crowd."
