Alabama Renegades News Release
The Alabama Renegades and New Orleans Blaze will take it to the field Saturday to determine who will claim runner-up in the Gulf Coast Division. Although the Pensacola Power has already wrapped up first place, the race is still on for second place and a possible spot in the playoffs.
Six teams are vying for two wildcard spots in the Southern Conference playoffs. The Nashville Dream, New Orleans Blaze, Asheville Assault, Alabama Renegades, Austin Outlaws and St. Louis Slam are all trying to advance to the playoffs and continue their season for at least one more game. The Dream looks to have one wildcard spot locked up, but the fight continues for the final spot.
The Renegades will mount their final drive of the season and try to continue on when they play the Blaze Saturday night. The game will kick-off at 7:00 pm at Goldsmith Schiffman Field. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the gate.
