"I have always been proud of the remarkable tradition the team has held for nearly three decades and I am excited to take part in expanding the team's legacy in the community."

"We are thrilled to be able to bring a broadcaster of Alex's caliber home to Hampton Roads to call Norfolk Admirals games for the 30th Anniversary season and beyond," said Admirals President and CRO Trent Ferguson. "Alex brings an engaging broadcast that our fan base will enjoy. He possesses a great passion and knowledge of the team's history.
