LHP Brad Mills (1-1, 3.91) vs. RHP Alex Meyer (7-6, 3.41)

TONIGHT'S GAME: The Red Wings play their final regular season home game of the season tonight (7:05 p.m.) as they wrap up a two-game set against the Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays) at Frontier Field. After winning the opener last night, the Wings have won 8 of their last 12 to remain in the playoff hunt -- just 2.0 GB of Pawtucket with 3 games to play. The Bisons - who own the tied for most wins in the IL in August (18) - are a 1/2-game back of Rochester and in 4th-place in the IL North. The Bisons are seeking their first playoff appearance since the 2005 season.

PLAYOFF SCENARIOS:

- A Wings win AND Pawtucket win would mean the Wings would have to win both games in PAW on Sun & Mon to advance.

- A Wings win AND Pawtucket loss would mean the Wings would still have to win both games in PAW to advance.

- A Wings loss AND Pawtucket loss would mean the Wings would have to sweep PAW AND have BUF lose 1 of last 2 G (@ SYR).

- A Wings loss AND Pawtucket win would eliminate the Wings from postseason contention.

*Wings still control their own destiny -- 3 straight wins to end the year will ensure ROC's 2nd straight trip to the playoffs.

Although Buffalo also owns 4 of the 10 HR he's surrendered this year (Francisco, LaRoche, Chambers & Mastroianni).
