The Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of Culver Academies 18U forward Ryan Patrick to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2016-17 season.
The Morgantown, WV native, 19, played 46 games this year for Culver's 18U prep team, who play in the Independent/Prep AAA League. He had 57 points on the season (22 goals and 35 assists), which included five game winning goals. He has a whopping +43 plus/minus ratio. Current Rebels Brennan Kapcheck and Dom Garcia attended Culver.
"I couldn't be happier to be tendered by the Rebels" stated Patrick. "The decision was easy thanks to Coach Coombs and the rest of his staff. Having the opportunity to play for a successful team and with two previous teammates is something I am very thankful for" said Patrick.
"With Ryan's skill and compete level, he fits into how we play" stated Rebels head coach Joe Coombs. "I think his decision to play here is exciting. I know he can be an integral component of our team" concluded Coombs.
