Rebecca Morse Returns for Fourth Season with Riveters

Rebecca Morse will continue to bring her versatility and leadership to the Riveters, re-signing for her fourth season with the club.
The New Jersey native has been a valuable performer for the Riveters, spending time at both forward and defense over the course of her 37-game NWHL career, which includes an Isobel Cup in 2018.
"Being from New Jersey, I am incredibly proud to wear the Riveters jersey and have been since I first put it on," said Morse. "My commitment to growing the game and competing for another championship is why I remain aligned with the NWHL and continue to pursue my dream."
Morse spent four seasons at Providence College, recording 60 points (16-44-60) in 136 games and finishing her career with a plus-27 rating. She was named a Hockey East All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman. As a junior, she led the team with 52 blocked shots. Prior to Providence, she set the National Sports Academy record with 61 assists in 71 games.
While playing for the Riveters, Morse works as a Marketing Associate at a global financial services firm in Weehawken, NJ. She also coaches at hockey clinics, including ones for the high school in her hometown of Westfield. The high school started a girls' hockey program three years ago.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome Rebecca back for another season with the Riveters," said General Manager Kate Whitman Annis. "She is a leader and is always pushing other players to do their best. She is a steady player who can be relied upon to make the big plays when we need her."
