RB Ross Signs with Force for 2016

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that RB Roosevelt Ross will make his professional career debut with the Force for the upcoming 2016 season.

"I would like to thank the Lord for this opportunity," Ross commented on joining the Force. "I would like to thank Coach Martinez for signing me and allowing me to restart my football career. I'm stoked to be able to play for the Force and I pray that we are a great team and will be champions. I will work hard and be dedicated to the organization in our quest for greatness."

Ross played for West Alabama University where he recorded 948 rushing yard and six touchdowns. Following his time with Tigers, Ross signed with the Montreal Allouettes where he was later released from the team.

Prior to his time with Tigers, Ross attended East Central Community College. In his sophomore season, he recorded 598 rushing yards and six touchdowns. In that year, he was named MJCAA First Team All-State, Honorable Mention All-American, MJCAA All-Region Team and East Central Player of the Year.

During his senior season at Forest High School, Ross was named Preseason Top 105 High School Player, Prep Star Magazine 2004 All Region Team, Star Banner Player of the Year, Florida Athletic Coaches Association Region 7 4A Player of the Year and Old Spice Player of the Year.
