Rattlers Reign Supreme in Latest Coaches' Poll

CHICAGO - The Arizona Rattlers (4-0) received the maximum 13 first place votes to once again sit atop the latest AFL Coaches' Poll following a 57-51 victory over the San Jose SaberCats (2-3) in Week 5.

The Rattlers will face another "Top 5" team this week as the No. 3-ranked Pittsburgh Power (3-1) travel to the desert. The Power jumped up two spots after handling the New Orleans VooDoo (1-3), 56-14. Kickoff is set for 9:00 p.m. EST Saturday on ESPN3.

The Spokane Shock (3-1) remain at No. 2 for the second week in a row, after defeating the Portland Thunder (0-4), 55-27, last Saturday. The Pacific Division-leading Shock will host the undefeated Cleveland Gladiators (4-0) on Saturday. The Gladiators, who come in at fifth in the Poll this week, put together a 40-30 road victory over the LA KISS (2-2) in Week 5. Kickoff is set for 10:00 p.m. EST Saturday on ESPN3.

Despite a three-game losing streak, the San Jose SaberCats maintain their position at No. 4 in this week's Poll. They will travel to Oregon on Friday for a Week 1 rematch with the Portland Thunder. The SaberCats topped the Thunder, 64-34, in March. Kickoff is set for 10:00 p.m. EST on ESPN3.
