Arizona Rattlers News Release
PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers activated wide receiver Curtis Fagan from the injured reserve list and signed defensive back Josh Golden from the practice squad on Thursday, Head Coach Gene Nudo announced.
Fagan (6-foot, 185-pounds) suited up for 11 games with Arizona last season, recording 610 yards receiving on 40 catches, tallying 12 touchdowns. The third-year player was placed on the team's injured reserve list prior to the start of this season.
Golden (5-foot-10, 176 pounds) is in his first season in the Arena Football League, having recently graduated from Arizona State University. He participated in mini camp with both the Detroit Lions and San Diego Chargers in 2006 prior to joining the Rattlers. Golden was in training camp with the Rattlers before being signed to the team's practice squad prior to the start of the season.
In addition, the Rattlers placed receivers Atnaf Harris (hand) and Justin Taplin (knee) on injured reserve. Both players were injured in last week's 68-41 victory vs. Las Vegas.
