
Randy Soderman to Lead Extreme

Tucson Extreme are happy to announce the signing of Randy Soderman as Head Coach. Soderman, who played collegiately at Grand Canyon University, brings with him the knowledge needed to direct a first year team. Sodermans' resume includes 12+ years of professional indoor experience in the Continental Indoor Soccer league, National Professional Soccer League, World Indoor Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League. Sodermans' many honors include multiple All Star teams, Defender of the Year, Defender of the Month and team MVP. Soderman is eager to take his vast knowledge of the game and form a team that will compete at a high level. Team President Tom Mitchell stated "This is a big step for us, I believe Randy is the perfect man for the job. When talking with him we had very similar ideas of what it would take to be successful. With his knowledge and the talent in Arizona, more specifically Tucson, I am confident we will be one of the teams to beat this year."
The Extreme are looking for local talent and will hold an open tryout on Saturday August 18, 2012 from 9AM to 12 noon at the Maracana Indoor Soccer Arena at 555 E 18th Street, Tucson. Tryout fees are $40 if you pre register at www.tucsonextremesoccer.com (team page) or $50 day of.
