Railers continue hot streak

Reading Railers News Release


The Reading Railers defeat the Nighthawks 112-81, improving their record to 5-0 lifetime against them.

In a game that was essentially over before it started, the Railers continued their dominance over Maryland by getting off to a 12 point 1st quarter lead.

The Railers lead got as large as 26 points by the end of the third quarter.

The onslaught continued throughout the 4th quarter with Reading using a devastating combination of both a potent offense and smothering defense.

Lennox McCoy and Tayron Thomas both led the team in scoring with 17 points each. Aaron Williams continued to prove why he is league leader in rebounds with 18.

The win gives the Railers 7 victories in their last 9 games.

Next up for Reading is a Sunday evening game at Wilmington; tomorrow at 4pm.
