Rail Runners Announced As East Ridge Team Name

EAST RIDGE, TN - The Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) announced Tuesday (September 27) that the UIFL East Ridge team will be known as the Tennessee Rail Runners.
The Rail Runners will don orange, black and white in their inaugural year.
The team will play in the newly formed Southern Conference of the UIFL and will play its seven-game home slate at the Camp Jordan Arena. Season tickets start at $42, while single-game tickets can be purchased for as low at $7.
Other teams in the Southern Conference include: the Huntington (WVa.), Hammer, Eastern Kentucky Drillers, Rome (GA) Rampage, Florida Tarpons, Lakeland Raiders, Carolina Aviators and the Mississippi Hound Dogs.
