Quinnel "Q" Brown Re-Signs With Detroit Panthers
July 5, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Detroit, MI. The ABA Detroit Panthers re-signed their outstanding power forward, 6'5", 215lb Quinnel "Q" Brown of Chicago, IL. "We acquired Q toward the end of the 2006-07 season from the ABA's Chicago-based Twin City Ballers. He made an immediate impact on both ends of the floor for the Panthers," said President & GM Kevin A. Carter.
Q averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists per game for the last eight games of the season with the Panthers. He finished 6th in scoring in the ABA for the 2006-07 season. "Q runs the floor very well, he's an excellent scorer from anywhere on the floor, and plays very aggressive defense. He is the type of player that can spark a ten-point run on opposite ends of the floor. We are very fortunate to have a great player like Q in our organization," added Carter.
