
QB Panasuk Signs with AFL Cleveland Gladiators

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that the team's starting QB Stephen Panasuk has signed with the Arena Football League (AFL) Cleveland Gladiators.
"I'm proud of Stephen," Force head coach Paco Martinez said. "When he signed he said his goals were to win a championship here in Wichita and/or get promoted to the AFL. He's guided us to a solid start and is now getting called up. Stephen is an intelligent QB, Cleveland is getting a winner.
Panasuk has led the team to a 5-2 start on the season and currently is No. 8 in the league for total offense. In seven games with the Force, Panasuk has completed 97 out of 159 passes for 1,084 yards and 31 passing touchdowns. He is also, ranked No. 3 in total offensive touchdowns adding one rushing touchdown to his total.
"My time in Wichita has been awesome," Panasuk commented. "I love this organization, the coaching staff, this team, and the fans. Leaving is tough. It's leaving a family. I'm grateful for being brought in by Coach Martinez. I wouldn't be able to take this opportunity if it wasn't for this organization."
