Premier Lacrosse League Announces Attendance Numbers from Week 7 in Denver

July 30, 2019 - Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) News Release

LOS ANGELES, CA. - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today an attendance total of 12,892 over three total games this weekend (July 27 and 28) at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver, CO.

Action got started on Saturday with a pair of matchups that shook up the league standings as the PLL approaches the postseason. In a rematch of a dramatic week 1 game, Atlas LC's offense exploded in the first quarter led by stars Connor Buczek and Eric Law and saw the Bulls take down the Redwoods 18-15 - the highest scoring game of the season. In the Saturday night game, coach Andy Towers' Chaos LC took down Matt Rambo and Whipsnakes LC 13-12. Chaos LC were propelled to victory by Connor Fields and Deemer Class, with goalie Blaze Riorden stopping 17 shots in the win. Sunday's lone matchup saw Archers LC emerge victorious over Chrome LC with a 9-7 victory, finally breaking their four-game winless streak. The non-stop action this weekend saw league social channels generate over 11 million impressions with just under a million total views.

The PLL will have its second bye week of the season this weekend, but will return with a visit to the Bay Area on August 10 and 11 for three total games at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, CA. Saturday, August 10th will feature a doubleheader consisting of a 1 PM PT game between Redwoods LC and Chaos LC followed by a 4 PM PT matchup between Chrome LC and Whipsnakes LC. Both Saturday games will be available on NBC Sports Gold, NBC's direct streaming service. Sunday's game will see Archers LC and Atlas LC battle at 4:30 PT on NBCSN.
