
Premier Basketball League Wishes Ripknees The Best
October 23, 2007 - Premier Basketball League (PBL) News Release
(Chicago, IL)... The Premier Basketball League announced today that the Minnesota Ripknees are no longer part of the PBL.
The Ripknees recently postponed participation in the inaugural 2008 PBL season.
PBL President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Doyle and PBL Chairman of the Board Dr. Severko Hrywnak, spoke at great length with Ripknees President Jack Jurewicz Monday evening regarding the Ripknees situation.
With the sale of the team, the relationship with the PBL has been immediately dissolved.
The PBL wishes Mr. Jurewicz and his family success.
The PBL regular season will tip off on Friday January 4th. The 10 teams will play a 20 game regular season schedule ending on March 16th. The full schedule can be viewed at www.pblpro.com.
