Power to Hold Open Tryouts for Players October 1

The Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League will be holding tryouts for position players at Southpointe Fieldhouse, located at 104 Cecil Henderson Road in Canonsburg, on Saturday, October 1st from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration begins at 6:30am. Three players who participated in open tryouts held in 2010 were signed by the Power, including leading WR Mike Washington, as well as QB Antony Morelli, who threw for 14 TD's in 2011.
The price for tryouts is $75. Participants will receive instruction and evaluation from the Pittsburgh Power coaching staff and ownership, including head coach Chris Siegfried and Steeler legend, NFL Hall of Famer Lynn Swann. Everyone will also receive a Pittsburgh Power T-shirt and a game ticket to the Power 2012 home opener. Space is limited and early signup is recommended.
