
Port Huron Patriots Extend CIFL Agreement

SAGINAW, MI - The CIFL is proud to announce the return of the Port Huron Patriots for the 2013 season. The Patriots joined the CIFL in 2012 as an expansion team under the leadership of Dave and Cyndi Kinsman. Port Huron will once again call the McMorran Place Sports and Entertainment Center home in 2013 when the season begins in February.PortHuronPatriots.png
"The Patriot Organization is excited about the new leadership the owners bring to the CIFL and are energized by the direction the league is expanding in 2013," said Owner Dave Kinsman, "The Patriots are looking to continue fun filled family entertainment by continuing our exciting football play and family events for our fans. Cyndi and I are proud to have the Patriots a member of the CIFL."
Port Huron also helped to showcase the talent of the youth in their community with the JR Stars League. The JR Stars League was comprised of boys and girls ages 7-13 (broken into two age-group specific divisions) and played 8 on 8 indoor flag football prior to every home Patriot game.
The Port Huron Patriots and the Saginaw Sting will battle once again in 2013 for the Michigan Cup, a traveling trophy that was competed for in 2012.
