Ontario Warriors News Release

The Ontario Warriors ran their record to 6-0 with another dominating performance. While the final score was 66-0 it could have been much worse. In a game built around passing, Christopher Pointdexter amassed 109 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries. Wide Receivers Solomon Jones and Stefon Ceaser added a touchdown each and qb Kevin Warner ran for another.

The Warriors defense arguably the best defense in all of indoor football was dominant again allowing just one score. The touchdown in the 3rd quarter ended a streak of over 105 minutes without allowing a point. A stat that is unheard of in indoor football. A defensive stand in the second quarter sums it up. The Knights took over after a change of possession on the Warriors one yard line. After two key plays by Brandon Souder and a solid play by Roy Otis, the Knights were looking at 4th and goal from the 2 yard line. The Warriors defense made the final play as Herb cash batted down a pass to the end zone and capped a great defensive stop. This stand exemplifies the Warriors defense this season.

The Warriors will host the Nevada Lynx Saturday May 12th at 7:00 PM as they continue their pursuit of a perfect season.
