FC Tucson's longest playoff run as a professional team comes to a close after a 6-1 loss to 2021 USL League One league leaders Union Omaha.

The cold and wet night in Nebraska opened with a goal from Union Omaha forward Evan Conway in the third minute opened the scoring for the home team in the USL League One Semifinal, presented by TwinSpires.

Tucson responded with a long shot from Maxi Schenfeld in the eighth minute that narrowlly missed to the right, a shot from outside the box from Kevin Rodriguez in the 17th minute that was saved by Omaha goalkeeper Rashid Nuhu and an attempt from Charlie Dennis in the 27th minute that hit the crossbar.

Conway doubled Omaha's lead in the 31st minute in a complex scenario that saw Maxi Schenfeld get sent off with a straight red card while Omaha celebrated.

Omaha forward Greg Hurst gave the hosts a 3-0 lead in the 49th minute followed quickly by a fourth from Omaha midfielder Devin Boyce in the 54th minute.

The bright spot of the night for Tucson was when Charlie Dennis pulled one back to make it 4-1 in the 63rd minute.
