Amarillo, TX - This week's Player of the Week is near and dear to everyone's heart. He started out in a small town called Bellaire, Ohio where he moved to Indiana to go to Ball State. Playing at Ball State for 3 seasons before being picked in the fifth round of the Draft in the NFL by AFC San Francisco 49ers in 2009.

After a becoming a Free Agent, Nate Davis chose to make his debut as an indoor football quarterback for Amarillo Venom in 2012 playing for two years before moving on to Rio Grande Valley Sol for one. He later decided to make his home in Amarillo, Texas in 2015 still being an all-star quarterback here at YOUR Amarillo Venom.

Last week, Nate Davis, made 4 running touchdowns and passed for 312 Yards with zero interceptions. Showing Amarillo why he is here and why he is Player of the Week.
