KNOXVILLE, TN (June 12, 2012) - The Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) has named Columbus Lions WR London Crawford, Alabama Hammers DB Ray Little, and Richmond Raiders K T.C. Stevens as the Week 12 PIFL Players of the Week.

Going into Saturday's game versus the first-place Albany Panthers, the Columbus Lions coaching staff knew one player in particular was due for a break-out performance and that player happened to be WR London Crawford (6'2 205, Arkansas). In Week 12's near defeat of the Panthers, Crawford hauled in 15 receptions for 174 yards and four touchdowns. His 15 receptions vaulted him over teammate Maurice Dupree for the league-lead in receptions (93) as well as broke the PIFL single-game high for receptions in a game breaking his own record earning him the Offensive Player of the Week for Week 12.

Obtaining three interceptions in a single-game is a hard feat to come by, on Saturday Alabama Hammers DB Ray Little (5'11 182, Sacramento St.) become just the second player in the PIFL do so when he stepped in front of three Freddie Harrison passes in the Hammers to a 58-42 victory over the Louisiana Swashbucklers. In all, the Alabama defense picked up five turnovers putting an end to the clubs five game losing streak. Little's efforts earned him the Week 12 Defensive Player of the Week.

Richmond Raiders K T.C. Stevens (5'9 180, Hampden-Sydney) earned his third player of the week nomination after leading all kickers for the week with 12 points. In the 60-57 victory over Knoxville, Stevens was a perfect 9 of 9 on PAT attempts and added a 28-yard field early in the 4th quarter jump-starting the Raiders ten-point come from behind win. Stevens previously received Specials Teams Player of the Week in both Week 1 and 10.

The PIFL regular season will conclude this Saturday with all six teams in action beginning at 7:00 PM with a potential championship preview between the league's top two clubs with the Albany Panthers (10-1) paying a visit to the Richmond Raiders (9-2). At 7:30 PM, the Columbus Lions (5-6) will look to put an end to the club's first ever three-game losing streak when they host the Knoxville Nighthawks (1-10) and then 30-minutes later the Louisiana Swashbucklers (5-6) and Alabama Hammers (3-8) will meet in Lake Charles for the book-end of a home-and-home series.
