NASHVILLE, TN (April 14, 2015) - The Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) is proud to announce the Week 4 Players of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week: WR Charles McClain (Alabama)

After a furious 30 point 4th quarter comeback from the Venom giving them a 52-48 lead with 2:14 left in the game, WR Charles McClain (5'8 180, North Alabama) scored the game-winning touchdown with 43 seconds remaining hooking up with Sutphen on a four-yard TD pass. McClain finished the night hauling in a game- high 168 yards on eleven receptions including four trips to the end-zone. Alabama is now 2-0 against the defending PIFL Champion Venom, having also won 34-26 back in Week 1. This week the Hammers will remain home for a clash with the Saginaw Sting of the AIF.

Honorable Mentions: QB Garrett Sutphen (Alabama), QB Casey Kacz (Columbus)

Defensive Player of the Week: DL Tevan Ferguson (Trenton)

DL Tevan Ferguson (6'4 305, Missouri St.) tremendous performance along the defensive line helped the Trenton Freedom explode for PIFL single-game team high ten sacks. Ferguson collected 2.5, and is now tied for a league-high with teammate Jerome Hayes with five sacks in three games. Proving to be a disruptive force, the Freedom defense forced three turnovers while combining to hold both Erie QB's Mason Espinosa and Jeff Sinclair to a completion percentage of 38%. This week, Trenton will hit the road for the first time this season in a Week 1 rematch with the Richmond Raiders.

Honorable Mention: DB Svante Davenport (Alabama), DB Roshawn Marshall (Columbus)

Special Teams Player of the Week: K T.C. Stevens (Richmond)

For the second time this season, Raiders K T.C. Stevens (5'9 180, Sydney-Hampden) earns the Special Teams Player of the Week nod. Despite the loss to Columbus, this week Stevens led all kickers in scoring with 13 points by converting on 4 of 5 PAT attempts and going 3 of 3 on field goal tries (26, 25, 40). This marks the eleventh time he has been pegged with this weekly honor, a league high. On Friday, the Raiders will try to avoid their second consecutive 1-4 start when the host the Freedom.

Honorable Mention: K Christian Reed (Nashville)

PIFL will resume this Friday beginning with the Raiders (1-3) hosting the Freedom (2-1). The weekend will conclude with a triple-header starting off with the Venom (1-2) squaring off in Columbus with the undefeated Lions (3-0). Lehigh Valley (2-1) and Erie (0-2) will meet for the second time this season while the Hammers round out the week hosting the AIF's Saginaw Sting.
