CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union II resumes its USL Championship season today, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. (ESPN+) at Subaru Park in a Group F match up against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Union II home matches in July will be closed-doored in accordance with state and local officials. The Philadelphia Union organization will continue to evaluate the ability to have fans at Subaru Park for future home matches.

The Union II played one match before the 2020 season was put on hold. Philadelphia hosted Loudoun United on March 7 and came away with a 0-0 draw. Union II nearly took all three points after forward Yomi Scintu found space in the box and saw his shot find the post in the 90th minute.

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds opened its 2020 season Sunday night on the road against Louisville City FC. The Riverhounds played spoilers on the night defeating Louisville 3-1 as the defending champions opened its new stadium.
