
PHF Announces International Coverage with ESPN, TSN

(Brooklyn, N.Y.) - The Premier Hockey Federation today announced that ESPN has acquired the international rights to 30 PHF regular season games during the upcoming 2021-22 season, plus special events, Isobel Cup Playoffs and Championship. ESPN+ is the exclusive home of the PHF in the United States.
In Canada, live coverage of the PHF is available to TSN and TSN Direct subscribers through the network's five television feeds as well as through live streaming via TSN.ca and the TSN App. PHF games that are part of the ESPN International distribution network may be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa via ESPN Player, in Latin America via Star+, the Caribbean through ESPN Player via the ESPN App, and Oceania through Watch ESPN via the ESPN App.
Over 35% of PHF players are from countries outside of the United States including over 40 athletes who hail from nine different provinces across Canada. Austria, Finland, Slovakia, Sweden, and Switzerland are among the international countries currently represented on 2021-22 rosters, while 2021 drafts also featured players selected from Czech Republic, Great Britain, Hungary, Japan, and Russia.
The PHF season begins Saturday, November 6, with all six teams in action on Opening Weekend. International broadcast coverage opens with an afternoon contest featuring the Connecticut Whale and Metropolitan Riveters at 2:00 p.m. ET followed by an evening battle between the Toronto Six and Buffalo Beauts at 7:00 p.m. ET.
