
Pfenning Named Florida Tarpons Dance Team Director

FORT MYERS, FL - The Florida Tarpons arena football team have named Tracie Pfenning as Dance Team Director for the 2012 season.
Tracie began her dance studies at age 3 in Chicago, IL. She has over 20 years of experience in the cheerleading and dance industry, two of which are with the Florida Everblades. She was a member of the Harper College Dance Company and has performed in a variety of cities nationwide.
"I'm thrilled to start a new team and build it from a simple idea to an extraordinary halftime entertainment that will have SW Florida talking! I think with the right group of talented young ladies we can build something very special." Said Tarpons Dance Team Director Tracie Pfenning.
Tracie has appeared on Fox 4 The Morning Blend and Disney's Christmas Spectacular. She was also choreographer for a Chicago theater company in which she choreographed for shows including Peter Pan, Charlotte's Web and Candlelight Cabaret. She continues to share her passion for dance through teaching at a local studio in Naples, FL.
"We are excited to have Tracie leading our dance team for the upcoming season. With her experience, and passion I am sure the fans will be pleased." Said Florida Tarpons Co-Owner Leah Haines.
Tracie will begin her new role effective immediately.
